ONGOING ACTIVITIES

Principles for those in Business: A set of Principles, drawn from a Christian perspective, has been drawn up by CABE and formally endorsed by member Stephen Green, Chairman of HSBC. It was published and launched in 2006 at a reception hosted by Lord Griffiths of Fforestfach, a longstanding CABE member and Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs International. It is intended to be used both as a devotional aid, possibly daily, and more widely as a statement of Christian values in the business world. A pdf version of the Principles may accessed directly
as follows:

Copies of the document may be obtained at 50p each via the website www.principlesforthoseinbusiness.com

Related to these stated Principles, a project has been initiated to investigate the implications of managing an SME (Small to Medium-sized Enterprise) from a Christian viewpoint, and we are looking to local explorations to obtain relevant feedback from practitioners. Anyone interested should get in touch with Guy Negus at guy@lincon.co.uk

Faith in Business Quarterly
: CABE has made a grant supporting the ‘Faith in Business’ journal, recognising the valuable contribution made by this publication to faith/work issues.
