22nd September from 6.30pm - CABE London event with Andreas Whittam-Smith, First Church Estates Commissioner. Andreas is also a financial journalist, co-founder of The Independent newspaper, and former president of the British Board of Film Classification. 12th October - North West Christians in Business Collaboration event - "Responsible Leadership - business and personal". Speaker Philip Green, Chief Executive, United Utilities. Venue: Liverpool Cathedral.
20th October from 7.15pm - CABE Guildford Network with Stephen Bampfylde, speaking on "Career and Life Re-invention".
Venue: Guildford YMCA conference centre.
9th November 6 for 6.30pm - CABE Hugh Kay Annual Lecture "Pay, Inequality, Poverty: can Christian teaching inform our responses?", given by Chris Stephens, Chair Traidcraft plc.

Alan Gillespie, chair of the Economic and Social Research Council, former chair of Ulster Bank spoke on the subject of "The business of business is business... how Christian principles make a difference."
