Who We Are

A Christian Organisation

CABE was founded as a Catholic managers association in 1938 but since Vatican II, it has always been open to Christians of all denominations.

With a focus on work

CABE is dedicated to bringing Christian values and moral principles to the world of work and aims to support Christians by exploring the relationship between the faith that we profess and the world in which we work. Christians have a unique and special contribution to offer in the world of work, which is a valuable and necessary part of God’s creation. In asserting the positive role to be filled by the world of business, CABE also calls upon individual Christians to bring the values and moral teachings of Christianity to bear upon the manner in which the business process is conducted.

And Leadership

CABE affirms Christians in leadership in the private, public and voluntary sectors in order to exercise Christian influence through our life and work. In spite of our name, the term ‘business executives’ has not been a rigorous or exclusive concept. CABE welcomes participation by all Christians engaged in the world of work.

With charitable status

CABE is a charity registered in England and Wales no. 256182
